Ferrari 488 Challenge EVO

The Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo is an updated version of the 488 Challenge, introduced in 2019 for Ferrari’s one-make racing series. It retains the same 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 (F154CB) engine, producing approximately 670 horsepower, with no increase in peak output.

The main changes focus on aerodynamics and control systems. The Evo features a revised front bumper, additional aerodynamic elements, and a redesigned rear wing, resulting in increased downforce compared to the standard 488 Challenge. Cooling systems were also updated to support sustained track use.

Electronic systems were modified, including traction control and ABS, with a new braking system developed in collaboration with Bosch. These updates improve braking stability and consistency.

No major structural changes were made to the chassis or drivetrain. The Evo package is available as both a factory-built model and an upgrade kit for existing 488 Challenge cars.
