Theodore T84, built for Indycar, driven by Chico SerraThe Theodore T84 (also known as the N184) is a collaborated effort by. Theodore racing and Ensign racing to produce a dedicated machine for the 1984 Indy Car season. It was mostly based on the Theodore T83, a F1 car that also participated in the indycar series. Little is known about the. T84, information about the specs and production is scarce. References to race registries imply that no more than two T84’s were ever produced.
This car was built by Theodore but saw vast modifications by Ensign racing that produced the machine in its present state.
It was most likely driven by Chico Serra based on two points. The other T84 lacks the same chassis characteristics (curved ramps In front of the rear wheels) and the labeled number is #15, the same that Serra used at the 1985 Portland Indy GP.
